Now, you can personalize your yoga practice by choosing classes based on your needs. You may have days when you want more of an active practice, and other days you may prefer a restorative practice.
You can choose live or pre-recorded classes that fit your mood, from energizing, gentle, meditative, or flowing with movement. Classes are available so that you can choose your type of practice for the present moment!

Are you NEW to chair yoga? Join our Foundations of Yoga class.
Are you experienced at chair yoga?
Do you desire a mixed adaptive yoga class yoga with a chair (seated and standing poses).
Do you enjoy guided meditations?
Do you like to stretch either on the Earth/mat or with two chairs?
Do you ambulate with assistance such as a cane, walker, or rollator
Do you use a wheelchair or scooter?
Do have a Care Partner? As you begin an at-home practice, safety is a TOP priority. If assistance is required to ensure safety, make sure a Care Partner is present.
There are classes available for a range of abilities. They may focus on alignment, breath, balance, and core, or heart-opening, lengthening, breathing, or a combination. Even though a class is On Your Seat, you may elect to practice standing and On Your Feet for part or the entire class. Likewise, even though a class may contain a standing component, you may choose to practice the entire class On Your Seat. Other classes can be done On The Earth (in bed). Types of Classes Available:
Foundations of Chair Yoga
New Yogis, start here! This class is designed for beginners.
Chair Yoga
Enjoy the benefits of yoga On Your Seat including breathwork and poses for balance, core, strengthening, and flexibility.
Chair Yoga Duo
Class is taught by 2 teachers who demonstrate yoga on your seat and yoga on your feet so you can practice the adaptation that is best for you.
Balance and Core Yoga
Class is taught with a focus on strengthening your core and improving balance On Your Seat. Standing (On Your Feet is optional).
Breathe and Stretch with 2 Chairs
Practice breath work and poses to increase and improve balance, flexibility, and restore On Your Seat with 2 chairs. Traditional seated poses on the mat become more accessible with two chairs.
Breath and Meditation
This 30-minute class presents a variety of mindful breathing and meditation techniques.
Note: If you are new to yoga, we highly recommend that you attend a live Foundations of Yoga class to become familiar with the practice and ask your instructor any questions in this interactive format.

You Might Be Wondering…
How can I access Adaptive Yoga Moves Any Body on-demand classes?
- Sign up for a free live class.
- Join our on-demand classes starting at $8 per class, $25 for unlimited classes per month, or $250 for unlimited classes per year.
- You will be prompted to create your username and password, and then you’ll need to sign a waiver.
- From there, once you log into the on-demand site, you’ll have access to the plan you purchased and the associated classes.
Is there a limit to the number of classes I can watch?
If you sign up for a free live class, you’ll only have access to watch and attend that class live.
If you sign up for an on-demand class starting at $8 per class, you’ll have access to that class so you can watch it again and again.
If you sign up for the $25/month unlimited classes, you’ll have access to our entire video library to watch as many videos as you want for that month.
If you sign up for the $250/year unlimited classes, you’ll have access to our entire video library to watch as many videos as you want for that year.
What happens if I forget my password?
You can set a new password by pressing forgot my password on the login page.
How should I prepare for classes? What props do I need to have for classes?
Find a quiet place in your home where you will not be disturbed. Make it your special space. If you have any of the props listed below, place them nearby and to the side of your chair and yoga mat where you will not trip on them. Place your chair on a yoga mat or non-slip surface and near a wall for support and safety.
The teacher will often mention props that will be used at the beginning of class. They are also listed in the class description.
- 1 yoga mat
- 1 to 2 chairs (they should be stable and on NOT on rollers. Two chairs are highly recommended)
- Wall
- 2 blocks or alternative props such as books, or a small exercise ball
- Strap or alternative such as a tie, belt, scarf, or any fabric that can be used as a strap
- 1 to 2 blankets or towels
- tennis ball
What is the difference between on-demand classes and free live classes?
With on-demand classes, you’re practicing with a pre-recorded video taught by a Yoga Moves instructor. On-demand classes can be practiced at your leisure in the comfort of your home, anytime, anywhere and can be watched an unlimited amount of times.
With our free live classes, the instructor is available before the class begins, and when the class ends for discussion and to answer questions. You may also unmute yourself to ask questions in a live class. Students often arrive early to class to interact with other students or the instructor.
We suggest you choose a mix of live and on-demand classes to fully participate in the Yoga Moves MS community and enhance your practice.
What should I wear for class?
Wear comfortable clothes that provide freedom for movement or exercise. Yoga is traditionally practiced without shoes.
