Don’t wait for the perfect time to begin a yoga practice. I”m busy, I’m tired and I hurt, but I always make time for yoga. My practice helped me manage my pain and for that I am extremely grateful.

The first thing I feel like doing in the morning is stretching my whole body by putting my arms above my head and taking deep breaths. nothing feels better than that.

Yoga for me has changed my lift to a much better state. I have engaged in a variety of poses, which has greatly improved my life. ‘I can’t’ is no longer an option for me, but only to engage in another pose and ‘don’t forget to breath’, as our teachers remind us.

Being back in control of my life and learning to accept my new body is empowering. I am no longer afraid of my MS. It is just another annoying thing I must deal with. Yoga Moves MS opened up my world and gave me purpose.

Yoga helps me to feel good about myself both physically & emotionally. It helps me to accept better the limitations of my M.S.. The positive feedback I get from peers & teachers is like a warm hug that will last for the rest of the day & sometimes longer. My balance, walking, coordination and thinking is so much more positive after yoga. I believe Mindy’s knowledge of M.S. Is a comfort to those of us who live with it because she (as well as Marla, Kathy & Sheryl) know how it is.
